Emergent Reading Stage (levels 3-6)

During the Emergent Reading Stage, the Flying Start to Literacy program:

  • Introduces phonologically regular vocabulary: all words with short vowels.
  • Revisits and extends high-frequency words.
  • Reuses key vocabulary.
